16:1 論到為聖徒捐錢，我從前怎樣吩咐加拉太的眾教會，你們也當怎樣行。
16:2 每逢七日的第一日，各人要照自己的進項抽出來留著，免得我來的時候現湊。
16:3 及至我來到了，你們寫信舉薦誰，我就打發他們，把你們的捐資送到耶路撒冷去。
16:4 若我也該去，他們可以和我同去。
16:5 我要從馬其頓經過；既經過了，就要到你們那裡去，
16:6 或者和你們同住幾時，或者也過冬。無論我往那裡去，你們就可以給我送行。

16:7 我如今不願意路過見你們；主若許我，我就指望和你們同住幾時。
16:8 但我要仍舊住在以弗所，直等到五旬節；
16:9 因為有寬大又有功效的門為我開了，並且反對的人也多。
16:10 若是提摩太來到，你們要留心，叫他在你們那裡無所懼怕；因為他勞力做主的工，像我一樣。
16:11 所以，無論誰都不可藐視他，只要送他平安前行，叫他到我這裡來，因我指望他和弟兄們同來。
16:12 至於兄弟亞波羅，我再三的勸他同弟兄們到你們那裡去；但這時他決不願意去，幾時有了機會他必去。

捐助信徒
16:1 關於籌款幫助信徒的事，你們可以依照我從前吩咐加拉太各教會的辦法去做。
16:2 每星期天，你們每一個人應當按自己的收入照比例撥出一些錢，積存起來，不必等我來時才現湊。
16:3 我到的時候，會派你們所信任的人，給他們介紹信，讓他們把你們的捐款帶到耶路撒冷去。
16:4 如果需要我親自走一趟，他們可以跟我一起去。

保羅的計劃
16:5 我現在正要路過馬其頓。我訪問了馬其頓以後，就到你們那裏去。
16:6 我可能在你們那裏住些時候，也許在那裏過冬，再繼續我的旅程。這樣，我無論上哪裏去，你們可以給我送行。

16:7 我不願意只在路過時訪問你們；主若准許，我希望跟你們多住一些時候。
16:8 可是，我還要留在以弗所，一直到五旬節；
16:9 因為，儘管有許多反對的人，這裏的門大開，有很好的工作機會。
16:10 如果提摩太到你們那裏，我希望你們好好地接待他，使他安心，因為他跟我一樣在為主工作。
16:11 誰都不要輕看他；要送他平安地繼續他的旅程，讓他回到我這裏來，因為我正等著他跟信徒們一起來。
16:12 至於亞波羅弟兄，我常常鼓勵他跟其他信徒一起去訪問你們，可是他總覺得現在去不合適，等有機會，他會去的。

16:1 Now concerning the contribution for the saints: as I directed the churches of Galatia, so you also are to do.
16:2 On the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, as he may prosper, so that contributions need not be made when I come.
16:3 And when I arrive, I will send those whom you accredit by letter to carry your gift to Jerusalem.
16:4 If it seems advisable that I should go also, they will accompany me.
16:5 I will visit you after passing through Macedo'nia, for I intend to pass through Macedo'nia,
16:6 and perhaps I will stay with you or even spend the winter, so that you may speed me on my journey, wherever I go.

16:7 For I do not want to see you now just in passing; I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord permits.
16:8 But I will stay in Ephesus until Pentecost,
16:9 for a wide door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.
16:10 When Timothy comes, see that you put him at ease among you, for he is doing the work of the Lord, as I am.
16:11 So let no one despise him. Speed him on his way in peace, that he may return to me; for I am expecting him with the brethren.
16:12 As for our brother Apol'los, I strongly urged him to visit you with the other brethren, but it was not at all his will to come now. He will come when he has opportunity.
