1:10 弟兄們，我藉我們主耶穌基督的名勸你們都說一樣的話。你們中間也不可分黨，只要一心一意，彼此相合。
1:11 因為革來氏家裡的人曾對我提起弟兄們來，說你們中間有紛爭。
1:12 我的意思就是你們各人說：我是屬保羅的；我是屬亞波羅的；我是屬磯法的；我是屬基督的。
1:13 基督是分開的嗎？保羅為你們釘了十字架嗎？你們是奉保羅的名受了洗嗎？
1:14 我感謝神，除了基利司布並該猶以外，我沒有給你們一個人施洗；
1:15 免得有人說，你們是奉我的名受洗。
1:16 我也給司提反家施過洗，此外給別人施洗沒有，我卻記不清。
1:17 基督差遣我，原不是為施洗，乃是為傳福音，並不用智慧的言語，免得基督的十字架落了空。

教會的分裂
1:10 弟兄姊妹們，我奉我們的主耶穌基督的名勸你們大家，說話要一致，不可分裂，要團結，有一致的想法，有共同的目標。
1:11 我的弟兄姊妹們，有革來家的人坦白告訴過我，說你們中間有紛爭。
1:12 我的意思是，你們眾說紛紛。有的說：「我是保羅的人」；有的說：「我是亞波羅的人」；有的說：「我是屬彼得的」；有的說：「我是屬基督的。」
1:13 基督竟被分割了！難道替你們死在十字架上的是保羅嗎？你們是奉保羅的名受洗的嗎？
1:14 感謝上帝，除了基利司布和該猶，我並沒有給你們任何人施洗，
1:15 所以沒有人能說，你們是奉我的名受洗的。(

1:10 I appeal to you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree and that there be no dissensions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.
1:11 For it has been reported to me by Chlo'e's people that there is quarreling among you, my brethren.
1:12 What I mean is that each one of you says, "I belong to Paul," or "I belong to Apol'los," or "I belong to Cephas," or "I belong to Christ."
1:13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?
1:14 I am thankful that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Ga'ius;
1:15 lest any one should say that you were baptized in my name.
1:16 (I did baptize also the household of Steph'anas. Beyond that, I do not know whether I baptized any one else.)
1:17 For Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the gospel, and not with eloquent wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.
