20:1 七日的第一日清早，天還黑的時候，抹大拉的馬利亞來到墳墓那裡，看見石頭從墳墓挪開了，
20:2
就跑來見西門彼得和耶穌所愛的那個門徒，對他們說：有人把主從墳墓裡挪了去，我們不知道放在那裡。
20:3 彼得和那門徒就出來，往墳墓那裡去。
20:4 兩個人同跑，那門徒比彼得跑的更快，先到了墳墓，
20:5 低頭往裡看，就見細麻布還放在那裡，只是沒有進去。
20:6 西門彼得隨後也到了，進墳墓裡去，就看見細麻布還放在那裡，
20:7 又看見耶穌的裹頭巾沒有和細麻布放在一處，是另在一處捲著。
20:8 先到墳墓的那門徒也進去，看見就信了。
20:9 因為他們還不明白聖經的意思，就是耶穌必要從死裡復活。
20:10 於是兩個門徒回自己的住處去了。

20:1 星期日清晨，天還沒有亮，抹大拉的馬利亞往墳墓去，看見墓門的石頭已經移開了。
20:2 她就跑去找西門‧彼得和耶穌所鍾愛的另一個門徒，告訴他們：「有人從墓裏把主移走了，我們不知道他們把他放在哪裏！」
20:3 彼得和那個門徒就往墓地去。
20:4 兩個人一起跑，但那門徒比彼得跑得快，首先到達墓穴。
20:5 他俯身往裏面看，看見麻紗還在那裏，但是他沒有進去。
20:6 西門‧彼得跟著也趕到；他一直走進墓穴，看見麻紗還在那裏，
20:7 又看見那裹耶穌的頭巾沒有跟麻紗放在一起，是捲著，放在另一邊。
20:8 首先到達的那個門徒也跟著走進墓穴；他一看見就信了。(
20:9 他們還不明白聖經所說他必須從死裏復活那句話的意思。)
20:10 於是兩個門徒回家去了。

20:1 Now on the first day of the week Mary
Mag'dalene came to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that
the stone had been taken away from the tomb.
20:2 So she ran, and went to Simon Peter and
the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved, and said to them, "They
have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have
laid him."
20:3 Peter then came out with the other
disciple, and they went toward the tomb.
20:4 They both ran, but the other disciple
outran Peter and reached the tomb first;
20:5 and stooping to look in, he saw the
linen cloths lying there, but he did not go in.
20:6 Then Simon Peter came, following him,
and went into the tomb; he saw the linen cloths lying,
20:7 and the napkin, which had been on his
head, not lying with the linen cloths but rolled up in a place by
itself.
20:8 Then the other disciple, who reached the
tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed;
20:9 for as yet they did not know the
scripture, that he must rise from the dead.
20:10 Then the disciples went back to their
homes.
