和合本

18:1 耶穌說了這話，就同門徒出去，過了汲淪溪。在那裡有一個園子，他和門徒進去了。
18:2 賣耶穌的猶大也知道那地方，因為耶穌和門徒屢次上那裡去聚集。
18:3 猶大領了一隊兵，和祭司長並法利賽人的差役，拿著燈籠、火把、兵器，就來到園裡。
18:4 耶穌知道將要臨到自己的一切事，就出來對他們說：你們找誰？
18:5 他們回答說：找拿撒勒人耶穌。耶穌說：我就是。賣他的猶大也同他們站在那裡。
18:6 耶穌一說我就是，他們就退後倒在地上。
18:7 他又問他們說：你們找誰？他們說：找拿撒勒人耶穌。
18:8 耶穌說：我已經告訴你們，我就是。你們若找我，就讓這些人去吧。
18:9 這要應驗耶穌從前的話，說：你所賜給我的人，我沒有失落一個。
18:10 西門彼得帶著一把刀，就拔出來，將大祭司的僕人砍了一刀，削掉他的右耳；那僕人名叫馬勒古。
18:11 耶穌就對彼得說：收刀入鞘吧，我父所給我的那杯，我豈可不喝呢？
18:12 那隊兵和千夫長，並猶太人的差役就拿住耶穌，把他捆綁了，
18:13 先帶到亞那面前，因為亞那是本年作大祭司該亞法的岳父。
18:14 這該亞法就是從前向猶太人發議論說一個人替百姓死是有益的那位。

18:1 耶穌這樣禱告後，和門徒一道出去，過了汲淪溪。那地方有一個園子，耶穌和門徒都進去。
18:2 出賣耶穌的猶大也知道那地方，因為耶穌常和他的門徒在那裏聚集。
18:3 猶大引了一隊羅馬兵，會同祭司長和法利賽人所派遣的聖殿警衛隊走進園子裏。他們都帶著武器，也拿著燈籠和火把。
18:4 耶穌知道將要發生在他身上的一切事，所以上前問他們：「你們找誰？」
18:5 他們回答：「拿撒勒人耶穌。」耶穌說：「我就是。」那時，出賣耶穌的猶大也跟他們站在一起。
18:6 耶穌一說「我就是」，他們都倒退，跌在地上。
18:7 耶穌再一次問：「你們找誰？」他們回答：「拿撒勒人耶穌。」
18:8 耶穌說：「我已經告訴你們，我就是。如果你們找的是我，就讓這些人走吧。」
18:9 耶穌這樣說，正應驗了他從前說過的話：「父親哪，你賜給我的人，我一個也沒有失落。」
18:10 西門‧彼得帶著一把刀；他抽出刀來，向大祭司的奴僕馬勒古砍去，砍掉他的右耳。
18:11 耶穌對彼得說：「把刀收起來！你以為我不願意喝我父親給我的苦杯嗎？」
18:12 那一隊羅馬兵和隊長，連同猶太人的聖殿警衛拿住耶穌，綁了起來，
18:13 先把他解送到亞那面前；亞那是當年的大祭司該亞法的岳父。
18:14 這該亞法曾經向猶太人建議，說讓一個人替全民死是一件合算的事。

思想問題:[我父所給我的那杯，我豈可不喝呢？]是什麼意思?面對未來的挑戰,耶穌坦然無懼的態度,給我什麼提醒?

18:1 When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples across the Kidron valley, where there was a garden, which he and his disciples entered.
18:2 Now Judas, who betrayed him, also knew the place; for Jesus often met there with his disciples.
18:3 So Judas, procuring a band of soldiers and some officers from the chief priests and the Pharisees, went there with lanterns and torches and weapons.
18:4 Then Jesus, knowing all that was to befall him, came forward and said to them, "Whom do you seek?"
18:5 They answered him, "Jesus of Nazareth." Jesus said to them, "I am he." Judas, who betrayed him, was standing with them.
18:6 When he said to them, "I am he," they drew back and fell to the ground.
18:7 Again he asked them, "Whom do you seek?" And they said, "Jesus of Nazareth."
18:8 Jesus answered, "I told you that I am he; so, if you seek me, let these men go."
18:9 This was to fulfil the word which he had spoken, "Of those whom thou gavest me I lost not one."
18:10 Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and struck the high priest's slave and cut off his right ear. The slave's name was Malchus.
18:11 Jesus said to Peter, "Put your sword into its sheath; shall I not drink the cup which the Father has given me?"
18:12 So the band of soldiers and their captain and the officers of the Jews seized Jesus and bound him.
18:13 First they led him to Annas; for he was the father-in-law of Ca'iaphas, who was high priest that year.
18:14 It was Ca'iaphas who had given counsel to the Jews that it was expedient that one man should die for the people.
