8:2 清早又回到殿裡。眾百姓都到他那裡去，他就坐下，教訓他們。
8:3 文士和法利賽人帶著一個行淫時被拿的婦人來，叫她站在當中，
8:4 就對耶穌說：夫子，這婦人是正行淫之時被拿的。
8:5 摩西在律法上吩咐我們把這樣的婦人用石頭打死。你說該把她怎麼樣呢？
8:6 他們說這話，乃試探耶穌，要得著告他的把柄。耶穌卻彎著腰，用指頭在地上畫字。
8:7 他們還是不住的問他，耶穌就直起腰來，對他們說：你們中間誰是沒有罪的，誰就可以先拿石頭打他。
8:8 於是又彎著腰，用指頭在地上畫字。
8:9 他們聽見這話，就從老到少，一個一個的都出去了，只剩下耶穌一人，還有那婦人仍然站在當中。
8:10 耶穌就直起腰來，對她說：婦人，那些人在那裡呢？沒有人定你的罪嗎？
8:11 她說：主啊，沒有。耶穌說：我也不定你的罪。去吧，從此不要再犯罪了！

8:2 第二天一早，他回到聖殿；群眾都來找他，他就坐下，開始教導他們。
8:3 經學教師和法利賽人帶來一個女人；她是在行淫時被抓到的。他們叫她站在中間，
8:4 問耶穌：「老師，這個女人在行淫時被抓到。
8:5 摩西在法律上命令我們，這樣的女人必須用石頭打死。你認為怎樣？」
8:6 他們想用這話陷害耶穌，找把柄控告他。但是耶穌彎下身子，用指頭在地上寫字。
8:7 他們還是不停地問他，耶穌就直起腰來，對他們說：「你們當中誰沒有犯過罪，誰就先拿石頭打她。」
8:8 說過這話，他又彎下身子，在地上寫字。
8:9 他們聽見這話，就一個一個溜走，從年紀大的先走，只剩下耶穌和那個還站在那裏的女人。
8:10 耶穌就直起腰來，問她說：「婦人，他們都哪裏去了？沒有人留下來定你的罪嗎？」
8:11 她說：「先生，沒有。」耶穌說：「好，我也不定你的罪。去吧，別再犯罪！」]
思想問題:我容易定別人的罪,卻看不見自己的罪嗎?此刻我有什麼當向主認的罪?

8:2 Early in the morning he came again to the temple; all the people came to him, and he sat down and taught them.
8:3 The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery, and placing her in the midst
8:4 they said to him, "Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery.
8:5 Now in the law Moses commanded us to stone such. What do you say about her?"
8:6 This they said to test him, that they
might have some charge to bring against him. Jesus bent down and wrote
with his finger on the ground.
8:7 And as they continued to ask him, he stood
up and said to them, "Let him who is without sin among you be the first
to throw a stone at her."
8:8 And once more he bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground.
8:9 But when they heard it, they went away,
one by one, beginning with the eldest, and Jesus was left alone with
the woman standing before him.
8:10 Jesus looked up and said to her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"
8:11 She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you; go, and do not sin again."
