6:22 第二日，站在海那邊的眾人知道那裡沒有別的船，只有一隻小船，又知道耶穌沒有同他的門徒上船，乃是門徒自己去的。
6:23 然而，有幾隻小船從提比哩亞來，靠近主祝謝後分餅給人吃的地方。
6:24 眾人見耶穌和門徒都不在那裡，就上了船，往迦百農去找耶穌。
6:25 既在海那邊找著了，就對他說：拉比，是幾時到這裡來的？
6:26 耶穌回答說：我實實在在的告訴你們，你們找我，並不是因見了神蹟，乃是因吃餅得飽。
6:27 不要為那必壞的食物勞力，要為那存到永生的食物勞力，就是人子要賜給你們的，因為人子是父神所印證的。
6:28 眾人問他說：我們當行甚麼，才算做神的工呢？
6:29 耶穌回答說：信神所差來的，這就是做神的工。

6:22 第二天，留在湖對岸的一群人看見那裏只有一條小船；他們知道耶穌並沒有與門徒一起上船，而是門徒自己去的。
6:23 有幾條從提比哩亞來的小船停靠在岸邊，就是主祝謝後分餅給大家吃的那地方附近。
6:24 這群人發覺耶穌和他的門徒都不在那裏，就上船往迦百農去找他。
6:25 他們在湖的對岸找到了耶穌，問他：「老師，你幾時到這裏來的？」
6:26 耶穌回答：「老實說，你們找我，不是因為看見了神蹟，而是因為吃餅吃飽了。
6:27 不要為那會腐壞的食物操勞，要為那存到永生的食物努力。這食物就是人子要賜給你們的，因為父上帝已經在人子身上蓋了印記。」
6:28 他們就問：「我們該做甚麼才算是做上帝的工作呢？」
6:29 耶穌回答：「信他所差來的那一位，這就是上帝要你們做的工作。」
6:22 On the next day the
people who remained on the other side of the sea saw that there had
been only one boat there, and that Jesus had not entered the boat with
his disciples, but that his disciples had gone away alone.
6:23 However, boats from Tiber'i-as came near the place where they ate the bread after the Lord had given thanks.
6:24 So when the people saw that Jesus was
not there, nor his disciples, they themselves got into the boats and
went to Caper'na-um, seeking Jesus.
6:25 When they found him on the other side of the sea, they said to him, "Rabbi, when did you come here?"
6:26 Jesus answered them, "Truly, truly, I
say to you, you seek me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate
your fill of the loaves.
6:27 Do not labor for the food which
perishes, but for the food which endures to eternal life, which the Son
of man will give to you; for on him has God the Father set his seal."
6:28 Then they said to him, "What must we do, to be doing the works of God?"
6:29 Jesus answered them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent."
