27:27 到了第十四天夜間，船在亞得里亞海飄來飄去。約到半夜，水手以為漸近旱地，
27:28 就探深淺，探得有十二丈；稍往前行，又探深淺，探得有九丈。
27:29 恐怕撞在石頭上，就從船尾拋下四個錨，盼望天亮。
27:30 水手想要逃出船去，把小船放在海裡，假作要從船頭拋錨的樣子。
27:31 保羅對百夫長和兵丁說：這些人若不等在船上，你們必不能得救。
27:32 於是兵丁砍斷小船的繩子，由它飄去。
27:33 天漸亮的時候，保羅勸眾人都吃飯，說：你們懸望忍餓不吃甚麼，已經十四天了。
27:34 所以我勸你們吃飯，這是關乎你們救命的事；因為你們各人連一根頭髮也不至於損壞。
27:35 保羅說了這話，就拿著餅，在眾人面前祝謝了神，擘開吃。
27:36 於是他們都放下心，也就吃了。
27:37 我們在船上的共有二百七十六個人。
27:38 他們吃飽了，就把船上的麥子拋在海裡，為要叫船輕一點。
27:39 到了天亮，他們不認識那地方，但見一個海灣，有岸可登，就商議能把船攏進去不能。
27:40 於是砍斷纜索，棄錨在海裡；同時也鬆開舵繩，拉起頭篷，順著風向岸行去。
27:41 但遇著兩水夾流的地方，就把船擱了淺；船頭膠住不動，船尾被浪的猛力衝壞。
27:42 兵丁的意思要把囚犯殺了，恐怕有洑水脫逃的。
27:43 但百夫長要救保羅，不准他們任意而行，就吩咐會洑水的，跳下水去先上岸；
27:44 其餘的人可以用板子或船上的零碎東西上岸。這樣，眾人都得了救，上了岸。

27:28 就拋下測繩，探測水的深淺，得四十公尺；稍往前再探，得三十公尺。
27:29 他們怕船觸了暗礁，就從船尾拋下四個錨，盼望天亮。
27:30 水手們想逃出這條船，把救生艇縋下海裏，假裝要從船頭拋錨。
27:31 保羅對軍官和兵士們說：「這些人不留在船上，你們就不能獲救。」
27:32 兵士就砍斷救生艇的繩子，由它飄去。
27:33 天快亮的時候，保羅勸大家吃點東西。他說：「你們懸心焦慮，不吃不喝，已經十四天了。
27:34 所以我勸你們，吃點東西才能夠支持下去，因為你們每一個人連一根頭髮都不至於損失。」
27:35 說了這話，保羅拿些麵包，在大家面前向上帝獻上感謝，然後擘開來吃。

27:39 天亮了，水手不認識那地方，但是發現一個海灣，而且有沙灘，就決定想法子把船攏上去。

27:41 但是，船因衝到沙洲擱淺，船頭膠住，不能轉動，船尾被大浪猛力衝擊，破損不堪。
27:42 兵士想把囚犯都殺了，避免有潛水逃脫的。
27:43 但是軍官要救保羅，不准他們妄動，於是下令會游泳的人先跳下水去，游泳上岸；
27:44 其餘的人利用木板和船上的斷木上岸。這樣，大家都獲救上岸。

27:27 When the fourteenth night had come, as we were drifting across the sea of A'dria, about midnight the sailors suspected that they were nearing land.
27:28 So they sounded and found twenty fathoms; a little farther on they sounded again and found fifteen fathoms.
27:29 And fearing that we might run on the rocks, they let out four anchors from the stern, and prayed for day to come.
27:30 And as the sailors were seeking to escape from the ship, and had lowered the boat into the sea, under pretense of laying out anchors from the bow,
27:31 Paul said to the centurion and the soldiers, "Unless these men stay in the ship, you cannot be saved."
27:32 Then the soldiers cut away the ropes of the boat, and let it go.
27:33 As day was about to dawn, Paul urged them all to take some food, saying, "Today is the fourteenth day that you have continued in suspense and without food, having taken nothing.
27:34 Therefore I urge you to take some food; it will give you strength, since not a hair is to perish from the head of any of you."
27:35 And when he had said this, he took bread, and giving thanks to God in the presence of all he broke it and began to eat.
27:36 Then they all were encouraged and ate some food themselves.
27:37 (We were in all two hundred and seventy-six persons in the ship.)
27:38 And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, throwing out the wheat into the sea.
27:39 Now when it was day, they did not recognize the land, but they noticed a bay with a beach, on which they planned if possible to bring the ship ashore.
27:40 So they cast off the anchors and left them in the sea, at the same time loosening the ropes that tied the rudders; then hoisting the foresail to the wind they made for the beach.
27:41 But striking a shoal they ran the vessel aground; the bow stuck and remained immovable, and the stern was broken up by the surf.
27:42 The soldiers' plan was to kill the prisoners, lest any should swim away and escape;
27:43 but the centurion, wishing to save Paul, kept them from carrying out their purpose. He ordered those who could swim to throw themselves overboard first and make for the land,
27:44 and the rest on planks or on pieces of the ship. And so it was that all escaped to land.
