18:24 有一個猶太人，名叫亞波羅，來到以弗所。他生在亞力山太，是有學問（或作：口才）的，最能講解聖經。
18:25 這人已經在主的道上受了教訓，心裡火熱，將耶穌的事詳細講論教訓人；只是他單曉得約翰的洗禮。
18:26 他在會堂裡放膽講道；百基拉，亞居拉聽見，就接他來，將神的道給他講解更加詳細。
18:27 他想要往亞該亞去，弟兄們就勉勵他，並寫信請門徒接待他（或作：弟兄們就寫信勸門徒接待他）。他到了那裡，多幫助那蒙恩信主的人，
18:28 在眾人面前極有能力駁倒猶太人，引聖經證明耶穌是基督。

18:24 有一個猶太人名叫亞波羅，來到以弗所。他生在亞歷山大，是個很有口才的人，對聖經有非常豐富的知識。
18:25 他在主所指示的道路上面，已經受過相當的訓練，而且心中火熱，常常把耶穌的事正確地向人講解。可是，他只曉得有約翰的洗禮。
18:26 亞波羅開始在會堂裏大膽地講論；百基拉和亞居拉聽到了，就請他到家裏去，更加準確地把上帝的道路向他解釋。
18:27 以後亞波羅決定到亞該亞去，以弗所的信徒就幫助他，寫信給亞該亞的門徒，請他們接待他。他到了那裏，對那些蒙恩信主的人大有幫助。
18:28 他屢次在公開的辯論中有力地駁倒了猶太人，根據聖經證明耶穌是基督。

18:24 Now a Jew named Apol'los, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was an eloquent man, well versed in the scriptures.
18:25 He had been instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in spirit, he spoke and taught accurately the things concerning Jesus, though he knew only the baptism of John.
18:26 He began to speak boldly in the synagogue; but when Priscilla and Aq'uila heard him, they took him and expounded to him the way of God more accurately.
18:27 And when he wished to cross to Acha'ia, the brethren encouraged him, and wrote to the disciples to receive him. When he arrived, he greatly helped those who through grace had believed,
18:28 for he powerfully confuted the Jews in public, showing by the scriptures that the Christ was Jesus.
