19:1 亞波羅在哥林多的時候，保羅經過了上邊一帶地方，就來到以弗所；在那裡遇見幾個門徒，
19:2 問他們說：你們信的時候受了聖靈沒有？他們回答說：沒有，也未曾聽見有聖靈賜下來。
19:3 保羅說：這樣，你們受的是甚麼洗呢？他們說：是約翰的洗。
19:4 保羅說：約翰所行的是悔改的洗，告訴百姓當信那在他以後要來的，就是耶穌。
19:5 他們聽見這話，就奉主耶穌的名受洗。
19:6 保羅按手在他們頭上，聖靈便降在他們身上，他們就說方言，又說預言（或作：又講道）
19:7 一共約有十二個人。
19:8 保羅進會堂，放膽講道，一連三個月，辯論神國的事，勸化眾人。
19:9 後來，有些人心裡剛硬不信，在眾人面前毀謗這道，保羅就離開他們，也叫門徒與他們分離，便在推喇奴的學房天天辯論。
19:10 這樣有兩年之久，叫一切住在亞細亞的，無論是猶太人，是希臘人，都聽見主的道。
19:11 神藉保羅的手行了些非常的奇事；
19:12 甚至有人從保羅身上拿手巾或圍裙放在病人身上，病就退了，惡鬼也出去了。

19:1 亞波羅在哥林多的時候，保羅旅行經過內陸地區，來到以弗所。在那裏，他遇見一些門徒，
19:2 就問他們：「你們信主的時候，有沒有領受聖靈？」他們回答：「我們從來沒有聽過有聖靈這回事。」
19:3 保羅又問：「那麼，你們受的是甚麼洗禮呢？」他們回答：「是約翰的洗禮。」
19:4 保羅說：「約翰的洗禮是為那些悔改了的人行的；他告訴以色列人民要信在他以後來的那一位，就是耶穌。」
19:5 他們一聽見這話，就奉主耶穌的名領受洗禮。
19:6 保羅為他們按手，聖靈降臨在他們身上，他們就講靈語，又宣講上帝的信息。
19:7 他們一共約有十二個人。
19:8 一連三個月，保羅照常到會堂去，大膽地講道，跟人家辯論上帝國的事，勸人歸信。
19:9 他們當中有些人頑固不肯相信；在會眾面前公然毀謗主的道路。於是保羅帶著門徒離開他們，天天【14】在推喇奴講堂進行討論。
19:10 這樣的工作繼續了兩年，因此所有住在亞細亞省的人，無論猶太人或外邦人，都聽見主的道。

19:1 While Apol'los was at Corinth, Paul passed through the upper country and came to Ephesus. There he found some disciples.
19:2 And he said to them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?" And they said, "No, we have never even heard that there is a Holy Spirit."
19:3 And he said, "Into what then were you baptized?" They said, "Into John's baptism."
19:4 And Paul said, "John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, Jesus."
19:5 On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
19:6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them; and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.
19:7 There were about twelve of them in all.
19:8 And he entered the synagogue and for three months spoke boldly, arguing and pleading about the kingdom of God;
19:9 but when some were stubborn and disbelieved, speaking evil of the Way before the congregation, he withdrew from them, taking the disciples with him, and argued daily in the hall of Tyran'nus.
19:10 This continued for two years, so that all the residents of Asia heard the word of the Lord, both Jews and Greeks.
19:11 And God did extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul,
19:12 so that handkerchiefs or aprons were carried away from his body to the sick, and diseases left them and the evil spirits came out of them.
