門徒求主賜膽量
4:23 二人既被釋放，就到會友那裏去，把祭司長和長老所說的話都告訴他們。
4:24 他們聽見了，就同心合意地高聲向　神說：「主啊！你是造天、地、海，和其中萬物的，
4:25 你曾藉著聖靈，託你僕人─我們祖宗大衛的口，說：外邦為甚麼爭鬧？萬民為甚麼謀算虛妄的事？
4:26 世上的君王一齊起來，臣宰也聚集，要敵擋主，並主的受膏者（或譯：基督）。
4:27 希律和本丟‧彼拉多，外邦人和以色列民，果然在這城裏聚集，要攻打你所膏的聖僕（僕：或譯子）耶穌，
4:28 成就你手和你意旨所預定必有的事。
4:29 他們恐嚇我們，現在求主鑒察，一面叫你僕人大放膽量講你的道，一面伸出你的手來醫治疾病，並且使神蹟奇事因著你聖僕（僕：或譯子）耶穌的名行出來。」

4:31 禱告完了，聚會的地方震動，他們就都被聖靈充滿，放膽講論　神的道。

凡物公用
4:32 那許多信的人都是一心一意的，沒有一人說他的東西有一樣是自己的，都是大家公用。
4:33 使徒大有能力，見證主耶穌復活；眾人也都蒙大恩。
4:34 內中也沒有一個缺乏的；因為人人將田產房屋都賣了，把所賣的價銀拿來，放在使徒腳前，
4:35 照各人所需用的，分給各人。

信徒同心禱告
4:23 彼得和約翰一被釋放，立刻回到自己的人那裏，把祭司長和長老所說的話都向大家報告。
4:24 他們聽見了，就同心高聲禱告上帝說：「創造天、地、海，和其中萬物的主宰啊！
4:25 你曾藉著聖靈，用你的僕人─我們先祖大衛的口說：外邦為甚麼吼叫？萬民為甚麼妄圖虛幻的事？
4:26 地上的君王都披掛上陣；統治者也都結集在一起，要攻擊主和他的受膏者基督。
4:27 果然這樣，希律和龐修‧彼拉多在本城跟外邦人和以色列人勾結，要攻擊你神聖的僕人耶穌，就是你所選立的基督。
4:28 他們勾結起來，要做你的權力和旨意早就預定要實現的一切事。
4:29 主啊，他們的恐嚇，現在求你鑒察，並且使我們，就是你的僕人，能夠勇敢地傳講你的信息。
4:30 求你伸手醫治疾病，又使我們能藉著你神聖的僕人耶穌的名行神蹟奇事。」
4:31 他們禱告完了，聚會的地方震動。他們都被聖靈充滿，開始勇敢地傳講上帝的信息。

財物公用
4:32 這一群信徒都同心合意，沒有一個人說他的財物是屬自己的；所有的東西大家公用。
4:33 使徒們大有能力地見證主耶穌的復活；上帝大大降福給他們每一個人。
4:34 在他們中間，沒有人缺乏甚麼。那些擁有田產房屋的，都賣了，
4:35 把賣產業的錢交給使徒，照各人的需要分給各人。

 ²³When they had been released, they went to their own companions and reported all that the chief priests and the elders had said to them.

 ²⁴And when they heard this, they lifted their voices to God with one accord and said, "O Lord, it is You who MADE THE HEAVEN AND THE EARTH AND THE SEA, AND ALL THAT IS IN THEM,

 ²⁵who by the Holy Spirit, through the mouth of our father David Your servant, said,
         'WHY DID THE GENTILES RAGE,
         AND THE PEOPLES DEVISE FUTILE THINGS?
    ²⁶'THE KINGS OF THE EARTH TOOK THEIR STAND,
         AND THE RULERS WERE GATHERED TOGETHER
         AGAINST THE LORD AND AGAINST HIS CHRIST.'

 ²⁷"For truly in this city there were gathered together against Your holy servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel,

 ²⁸to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose predestined to occur.

 ²⁹"And now, Lord, take note of their threats, and grant that Your bond-servants may speak Your word with all confidence,

 ³⁰while You extend Your hand to heal, and signs and wonders take place through the name of Your holy servant Jesus."

 ³¹And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness.

Sharing among Believers

 ³²And the congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul; and not one of them claimed that anything belonging to him was his own, but all things were common property to them.

 ³³And with great power the apostles were giving testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them all.

 ³⁴For there was not a needy person among them, for all who were owners of land or houses would sell them and bring the proceeds of the sales

 ³⁵and lay them at the apostles' feet, and they would be distributed to each as any had need.
