17:1 耶穌說了這話，就舉目望天，說：父啊，時候到了，願你榮耀你的兒子，使兒子也榮耀你；
17:2 正如你曾賜給他權柄管理凡有血氣的，叫他將永生賜給你所賜給他的人。
17:3 認識你─獨一的真神，並且認識你所差來的耶穌基督，這就是永生。
17:4 我在地上已經榮耀你，你所託付我的事，我已成全了。
17:5 父啊，現在求你使我同你享榮耀，就是未有世界以先，我同你所有的榮耀。
17:6
你從世上賜給我的人，我已將你的名顯明與他們。他們本是你的，你將他們賜給我，他們也遵守了你的道。
17:7 如今他們知道，凡你所賜給我的，都是從你那裡來的；
17:8
因為你所賜給我的道，我已經賜給他們，他們也領受了，又確實知道，我是從你出來的，並且信你差了我來。

耶穌講完了這些話，就舉目望天，說：「父親哪，時刻已經到了，求你榮耀你的兒子，好使兒子也榮耀你。
17:2 你把管理全人類的權柄給了他，好使他把永恆的生命賜給你所付託給他的人。
17:3 認識你是惟一的真神，並且認識你所差來的耶穌基督，這就是永恆的生命。
17:4 我已經在地上榮耀了你；我已經完成了你所付託給我的使命。
17:5 父親哪，現在求你在你自己面前榮耀我，賜給我那創世之前我和你一同享有的榮耀吧！
17:6 「我已經把你顯明給那些你從世界選召出來付託給我的人。他們原屬於你，你把他們賜給我；他們也遵守了你的話。
17:7 現在，他們都知道，你所賜給我的，都是從你那裏來的。
17:8 我把你所給我的信息給了他們，他們也領受了。他們確實知道我是從你那裏來的，也信是你差遣了我。
思想問題:我在生活中要怎樣榮耀神?為了榮耀神,我現在必須放棄什麼?

17:1 When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted
up his eyes to heaven and said, "Father, the hour has come; glorify thy
Son that the Son may glorify thee,
17:2 since thou hast given him power over all
flesh, to give eternal life to all whom thou hast given him.
17:3 And this is eternal life, that they know
thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.
17:4 I glorified thee on earth, having
accomplished the work which thou gavest me to do;
17:5 and now, Father, glorify thou me in thy
own presence with the glory which I had with thee before the world was
made.
17:6 "I have manifested thy name to the men
whom thou gavest me out of the world; thine they were, and thou gavest
them to me, and they have kept thy word.
17:7 Now they know that everything that thou
hast given me is from thee;
17:8 for I have given them the words which
thou gavest me, and they have received them and know in truth that I
came from thee; and they have believed that thou didst send me.
