掃羅逼迫教會
8:1 從這日起，耶路撒冷的教會大遭逼迫，除了使徒以外，門徒都分散在猶太和撒馬利亞各處。
8:2 有虔誠的人把司提反埋葬了，為他捶胸大哭。
8:3 掃羅卻殘害教會，進各人的家，拉著男女下在監裏。

福音傳到撒馬利亞
8:4 那些分散的人往各處去傳道。
8:5 腓利下撒馬利亞城去，宣講基督。
8:6 眾人聽見了，又看見腓利所行的神蹟，就同心合意地聽從他的話。
8:7 因為有許多人被污鬼附著，那些鬼大聲呼叫，從他們身上出來；還有許多癱瘓的、瘸腿的，都得了醫治。
8:8 在那城裏，就大有歡喜。
8:9 有一個人，名叫西門，向來在那城裏行邪術，妄自尊大，使撒馬利亞的百姓驚奇；
8:10 無論大小都聽從他，說：「這人就是那稱為　神的大能者。」
8:11 他們聽從他，因他久用邪術，使他們驚奇。
8:12 及至他們信了腓利所傳　神國的福音和耶穌基督的名，連男帶女就受了洗。
8:13 西門自己也信了；既受了洗，就常與腓利在一處，看見他所行的神蹟和大異能，就甚驚奇。

8:2 從那一天開始，耶路撒冷的教會遭受極殘酷的迫害。使徒以外，所有的信徒都分散到猶太和撒馬利亞各地區去。有些虔誠的人把司提反埋葬了，並且為他大聲哀哭。
8:3 這時候，掃羅進行摧殘教會的工作；他挨家挨戶搜捕男女信徒，把他們關進牢裏。

福音傳到撒馬利亞
8:4 那些分散的信徒到各地傳福音。
8:5 腓利到撒馬利亞去，向當地的人宣講基督的事。
8:6 群眾都聚精會神地聽腓利所說的話。他們一邊聽，一邊觀看他所行的神蹟。
8:7 污靈大聲呼叫，從許多所依附的人身上出來；許多癱瘓的、跛腳的也都獲得醫治。
8:8 撒馬利亞城裏充滿著喜樂。
8:9 有一個人，名叫西門，他的邪術曾經轟動了撒馬利亞居民。他也自以為了不起；
8:10 城裏各階層的人都很喜歡聽他。大家說：「這個人有上帝的能力，是『大能者』。」
8:11 因為他長久用邪術迷惑他們，所以他們聽從他。
8:12 但是，他們相信了腓利所傳關於上帝主權的福音和耶穌基督的名時，男男女女都接受了洗禮。
8:13 西門自己也相信了；他受洗後常常跟腓利在一起。他看見了腓利所行的大異能和神蹟，很覺得驚奇。

8:1 And Saul was consenting to his death. And on that day a great persecution arose against the church in Jerusalem; and they were all scattered throughout the region of Judea and Sama'ria, except the apostles.
8:2 Devout men buried Stephen, and made great lamentation over him.
8:3 But Saul was ravaging the church, and entering house after house, he dragged off men and women and committed them to prison.
8:4 Now those who were scattered went about preaching the word.
8:5 Philip went down to a city of Sama'ria, and proclaimed to them the Christ.
8:6 And the multitudes with one accord gave heed to what was said by Philip, when they heard him and saw the signs which he did.
8:7 For unclean spirits came out of many who were possessed, crying with a loud voice; and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed.
8:8 So there was much joy in that city.
8:9 But there was a man named Simon who had previously practiced magic in the city and amazed the nation of Sama'ria, saying that he himself was somebody great.
8:10 They all gave heed to him, from the least to the greatest, saying, "This man is that power of God which is called Great."
8:11 And they gave heed to him, because for a long time he had amazed them with his magic.
8:12 But when they believed Philip as he preached good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
8:13 Even Simon himself believed, and after being baptized he continued with Philip. And seeing signs and great miracles performed, he was amazed.

1.為上帝奇妙的作為感謝，祂使逼迫成為傳福音的好機會，也使逼迫人的保羅成為傳福音的人。所以我們不論遇到甚麼事都不用害怕。
